Owner's Mindset
#agency
The difference between success and stagnation often comes down to how we approach commitment.
"Owners" enter relationships, careers, and projects with the intention to stay and build, while "renters" keep one foot out the door, collecting options rather than investing fully.
This distinction matters because growth happens in the staying, not in the constant swapping when things get difficult. When we deliberately limit our exit options, we force ourselves to work through difficulties rather than around them. The resistance we encounter isn't an obstacle but necessary "gravity" that gives our work and relationships their form and character. The owner takes responsibility for long-term outcomes, while the renter optimizes for comfort and convenience. By removing the easy escape hatches, we discover that our identity and growth come not from having unlimited choices, but from the depth we create by fully committing to our chosen few.
