Leaders are the stewards of organizational energy, inspiring or demoralizing others through their own Energy Management. Full engagement comes from being physically energized, emotionally connected, mentally focused, and spiritually aligned with a purpose beyond self-interest. It means eagerly starting work, happily returning home, and setting clear boundaries between the two. Surprisingly, less than 30% of American workers are fully engaged in their work.
