Anti-To-Do list

Marc Andreessen has what he calls an anti to-do list.

Use the back of the 3x5 card as your Anti-To-Do list. every time you do something—anything—useful during the day, you write down what you just did. Immediately to be crossed off.

Why?

Each time you do something, you get to write it down and cross it off for little rush of endorphins. The monkey gets every time he presses the button in his cage and gets a food pellet.

When you get off track this gives you a list of everything you were working on. It’s a log of your progress. Using the anti to-do list build momentum and give you get a snapshot of your progress.

It allows you to jump right back into your work.
